Andhra Pradesh is implementing the PM KUSUM scheme for agriculture - the AP Electricity Regulatory Commission approved (December 2025) the power procurement and tariff for agricultural-feeder solarisation under Component C, with the state DISCOMs (APCPDCL, APEPDCL, APSPDCL) executing it; standalone solar pumps are also supported under the scheme (subsidy of roughly 60% combining central and state shares). This is delivered largely through the central PM KUSUM framework.
