The Chief Minister announced on 23 December 2024 that 34% of local-body seats and nominated posts would be reserved for BCs, with legislation to follow. As of early 2026 implementation is entangled in High Court proceedings and demands for a BC caste census, and local-body elections have been delayed. Announced and pursued, not yet implemented; approved/government citation to be attached.
Constitute a special commission to investigate and act against those the manifesto alleges were responsible for attacks on temples during the previous government's tenure.
Ensure political participation through nominations for communities with small populations that cannot contest elections.
Pass a resolution for 33% reservation for Backward Classes in legislatures and send it to the Centre.
