Establish state-of-the-art Container Depot at Mormugao

Pending. The promise is to establish a state-of-the-art Container Depot at Mormugao for better cargo storage facilities. Mormugao Port Authority is the official port authority, and the Goa Logistics and Warehousing Policy 2023 defines multimodal logistics parks and container-terminal/storage functions. However, no approved source found confirms establishment of a new state-of-the-art Container Depot at Mormugao after the 2022 promise. Times of India reported in May 2025 that GCCI urged Mormugao Port Authority to restart container operations, indicating container-service gaps rather than confirmed depot delivery. Status pending.
