On track, but not fulfilled. The promise is to build world-class eco-friendly transportation infrastructure for Goa. Official evidence shows concrete progress: Goa Economic Survey 2024-25 records a 55.7% increase in electric-vehicle registrations during 2023-24 compared with 2022-23, and the Department of Information and Publicity reported a decision to scrap 280 old Kadamba buses and introduce around 100 electric buses on various routes by 2027. Goa Budget 2025-26 also provides for River Navigation and refers to Ro-Ro ferry boats, replacement ferry boats and an IWAI feasibility study for using water bodies for affordable transport. This confirms active movement toward cleaner transport infrastructure, but not a completed world-class statewide system.

We will convert all diesel buses into CNG buses to improve public trans-port facilities in the state and reduce vehicular pollution within a year.
We will roll out the Goa Beautification Plan and tenders to Goan land-scaping businesses to beautify Goa's villages.
We will incentivise public transport shuttles from the nearest bus sta-tions to the major religious centres of Goa to ease travel for devotees.
