Two-day quarterly holiday for government employees

Pending. The promise is to give all government employees a two-day holiday in every quarter of the year, equivalent to up to eight special leave/holiday days annually, to spend quality time with their parents. Delivery does not require the scheme to use the same Matru-Pitru Vandana Yojana name; any equivalent quarterly two-day leave or holiday benefit would count. Approved Goa holiday sources found so far show ordinary public, special and restricted holidays, including only two restricted holidays in a year, not two days every quarter. No approved government order, Department of Personnel circular, Gazette notification or equivalent source confirming this quarterly two-day benefit was found. Status pending.
