The National Green Hydrogen Mission (outlay about Rs 19,744 crore) targets at least 5 million tonnes per annum of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030, with incentives for electrolyser manufacturing and green-hydrogen production (SIGHT scheme), pilot projects in steel, mobility and shipping, and green-hydrogen hubs. Capacity allocation and manufacturing incentives have been awarded, but large-scale production is still in the early build-out phase. Partial (strong action).

We will provide free electricity to poor households under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
We have achieved record ethanol blending under the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme. We will further increase ethanol blending in petrol to mitigate environmental degradation while providing additional income to farmers.
