“We will further consolidate Bharat’s position as a Voice of the Global South by using the Prime Minister’s visionary 5S approach of Samman, Samvad, Sahyog, Shanti and Samriddhi.”
India has actively pursued a Global South leadership role: it convened three Voice of Global South Summits (the 3rd on 17 August 2024 with 123 countries participating) and launched initiatives such as the Global Development Compact, the Global South Centre of Excellence (DAKSHIN), AarogyaMaitri and trade/capacity-building funds, while championing reformed multilateralism at the G20, G7 outreach and UN. The 5S-framed pledge is being acted on, but "Voice of the Global South" is a continuing diplomatic role rather than a fixed, completable deliverable. Partial.
India hosts the 3rd Voice of Global South Summit (123 countries) on the theme "An Empowered Global South for a Sustainable Future", advancing the Global Development Compact.

We will fortify our connection with the Bharatiya diaspora, actively involving them in Bharat’s progress and providing unwavering support during their times of need, thereby enriching our mutual cultural and economic ties.
We will further expand the network of our missions and diplomats to pursue the global interests that have been secured by Bharat’s unprecedented rise in the global order.
