The promise combined a rank outcome, high-income global tourism positioning, and a named Mission Utkrisht Devbhoomi promotion drive. Tourism footfall reached a record 6.03 crore visitors in 2025, which supports tourism growth. But Ministry of Tourism data shows Uttarakhand was not the number one domestic tourism state, and I did not verify a named Mission Utkrisht Devbhoomi promoting the state in every Indian state capital and major world capitals.
