“The BJP Government shall leverage the climatic suitability of Uttarakhand and the central government's PLI scheme to transform it into the Semiconductor Manufacturing and Data Centre Hub for North India.”
The promise was to transform Uttarakhand into North India's semiconductor manufacturing and data centre hub using climate advantages and central PLI. An official Invest Uttarakhand sector deck pitches electronics manufacturing, semiconductor/display opportunities, PLI top-up and data-centre advantages, but I did not verify actual semiconductor manufacturing fabs, major data-centre hub delivery, or a North India hub outcome in the state. National India Semiconductor Mission activity cannot be counted as state delivery without Uttarakhand-specific projects. Budget status: no Uttarakhand-specific semiconductor/data-centre hub allocation or project capex verified.
