“We have empowered street vendors by providing credit facilities to 63+ lakh street vendors under PM Svanidhi. We will continue to further expand PM Svanidhi to cover street vendors, travelling salesmen among others from small towns and villages across Bharat.”
The pledge to further expand PM SVANidhi has been delivered. On 27 August 2025 the Union Cabinet approved restructuring and extension of the lending period to 31 March 2030 (total outlay Rs 7,332 crore), targeting 1.15 crore beneficiaries including 50 lakh new ones, with enhanced loan tranches (first up to Rs 15,000, second up to Rs 25,000, third Rs 50,000), UPI-linked RuPay credit cards and digital cashback. Crucially, coverage is being expanded beyond statutory towns to census towns and peri-urban areas in a graded manner, matching the pledge to reach small towns. As of July 2025, over 96 lakh loans worth Rs 13,797 crore had been disbursed to more than 68 lakh vendors. Fulfilled.

We will provide senior citizens with comprehensive training in using UPI and other online payment methods, while also educating them on how to recognize and avoid digital scams.
We will reach out to migrant workers and empower them to avail benefits of various programmes that they are eligible for.
