Following the liberalisation of geospatial data (2021 Guidelines) and the National Geospatial Policy 2022, India is building geospatial data infrastructure - the National Geospatial Data Registry/portal and data-sharing platforms to make geospatial data accessible to industry and startups. Components are being rolled out, but a fully operational national geospatial data registry and exchange as pledged is still developing. Partial.
We will establish science parks in various cities, to ensure that the spirit of scientific inquiry is within reach of Bharat's youth.
We will strengthen the Graphene-based technology programmes to develop more use cases and applications.
We will take further steps towards strengthening Bharat’s digital sovereignty and will take stringent action against digital entities that threaten the safety of Bharatiya on the internet.
