The pledge has been delivered. The PM-SURAJ (Pradhan Mantri Samajik Utthan evam Rozgar Adharit Jankalyan) national portal was launched on 13 March 2024 as a single-window, DBT-based credit platform for entrepreneurs from SC, ST, OBC, Safai Karamchari and other disadvantaged groups, integrated with banks and NBFC-MFIs. In FY2024-25 it disbursed about Rs 1,389.61 crore in loans to roughly 1.39 lakh entrepreneurs, exceeding its initial target of one lakh beneficiaries. Fulfilled (with continued lending).

We will provide senior citizens with comprehensive training in using UPI and other online payment methods, while also educating them on how to recognize and avoid digital scams.
We will reach out to migrant workers and empower them to avail benefits of various programmes that they are eligible for.
