Continue startup mentorship and global mentor tie-ups via Atal Innovation Mission

The promise was to continue mentorship under the Atal Innovation Mission and keep establishing tie-ups with globally recognised mentors to support startups. Official evidence shows that the AIM mentorship and incubation ecosystem remains active, with more than 6,200 Mentors of Change registered under the programme, 72 Atal Incubation Centres, more than 3,500 startups supported, and domestic and international partnerships reported by AIM. AIM 2.0 has also been approved with an expanded scope, including international innovation collaborations, industrial accelerator programmes, and a Rs 2,750 crore outlay up to March 31, 2028. PIB reporting on AIM SUMVAAD further shows active convening of startups, incubators, mentors, industry and policymakers for interaction, collaboration and long-term partnerships. However, no approved-source evidence was found that the government has specifically established new tie-ups with globally recognised mentors after the manifesto. Since the broad mentorship infrastructure is continuing but the specific global mentor tie-up pledge is only partly evidenced, the verdict remains partial.
