The promise was to organise regular Ayush camps for elders to support holistic healthcare, active living and vitality. Official evidence shows a direct eldercare campaign: the Ministry of Ayush first said 10,000 geriatric camps were being organised from June to September 2024, and later reported that 14,692 Ayush camps were organised against the 10,000-camp target within 100 days. These camps offered free consultations, therapies and guidance using Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy. A February 2025 MoU between the Ministry of Ayush and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment further committed to Ayush-based interventions for geriatric healthcare, including elderly-specific training modules, treatment protocols, yoga training programs and related health-promotion activities. This is ongoing rather than fulfilled because the promise is continuing in nature and requires repeated camps and maintained eldercare delivery, not a one-time count. Budget: direct mapped allocation exists through the National Ayush Mission, with Rs 1,275 crore in BE 2025-26, Rs 780.96 crore in RE 2025-26 and Rs 1,300 crore in BE 2026-27; no separate public utilisation figure only for geriatric camps was found.
